A Fresh New Look. Our Commercial Design Projects

The Black Goose Design recently completed three stunning commercial design spaces, Archibald's Restaurant, CF Home and Naborhood Bakery. We are delighted to share these projects and give you an exclusive peek inside historic Gardner Village.

Archibald's Restaurant is abundant in history. Keeping that in mind, a classic, traditional style with a fresh modern feel was the design goal to suit a comfortable dining experience. For over 25 wonderful years, this amazing restaurant has hosted and welcomed many beloved customers. The wallpaper added texture and a soft pattern, the perfect backdrop to an intimate space for each guest to enjoy.

It all started with a sketch, which soon evolved to a gorgeous detailed ceiling, the crown jewel for this gathering space, suitable for any guest's needs.

Shown: Randi, our talented designer behind the updated design project, CEO Joe Long, Peggy the original designer of Archibald's Restaurant, and Gardner Village founder Nancy Long.

Located next to Archibald's you can find CF Home Furniture & Design, a charming furniture and home decor store. Recent remolding and additional space has been completed with updated design, yet still keeping a historical atmosphere throughout the space. Original gears from the once West Jordan flour mill grace the building, adding a beautiful, industrial feel.

The gears were refurbished and installed making a huge visual impact in between massive beams and rustic textured rock.

Our final project. Starting in 1920, Naborhood Bakery opened its doors and a legend was born. This "sweet" little bakery is the longest running bakery in Utah. Relocating to Gardner Village in  2001, the building has 90 plus years of history, and welcomed a new fresh look, yet still feeling like home.

A custom-designed sleek stainless steel hood complemented by squared rivets, is a splendid eye-catching addition.

Overlooking a quaint plaza, natural light pours into a rich, wood-adorned space, allowing
functionality with ample space for customers to enjoy.

Planked, warm wood ceilings blend beautifully with the inviting light of a handsome weathered chandelier. Details are everywhere you look!
We saw you peeking at those sweet little treats, the perfect melt-in-your-mouth cookie and cozy bistro table are calling your name.

The Black Goose Design was honored to be a part of this new, masterplan design project. Creating a historic feel with a fresh new look awaits all guests at Gardner Village. We welcome you to experience high quality design at its finest.
